The person behind the curtain

I'm a British writer, performer, and comedian who has called New York City home for over a decade.

I grew up in the UK and trained at some of the city's best comedy venues, doing improv, sketch, and solo work. I've taken shows to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, written and starred in one-man shows, and co-created wild and weird theatre.

On screen, I wrote and starred in the short film Cook With The Heart, which won a bunch of awards, including Best Story, Best Short Comedy, and Best Actor. It was a good week. The film is now being developed as a feature with Evening Squire Productions. More recently, I starred in Beyond the Drumlins, a horror feature and the kind of project that reminds you why you got into all this in the first place. I also have a bunch of pilots that you should read if you are a producer.

I've also spent years studying sleight of hand magic and stage mentalism. I performed regularly in LA at The Pack Theater, and now perform at private events around New York City. I'm a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, which sounds far more official than it feels.

When I'm not on stage, writing nonsense, or shuffling cards, I live in Brooklyn with my wife and fellow performer Natalie Sullivan and our dog Merlin (who remains stubbornly unimpressed by all of it).
